Technical Evaluation
Following the identification of projects and opportunities that MIIF plans to invest in, irrespective of the nature of operations whether as an exploration project, open pit and or underground, Minecon has the capabilities to undertake technical due diligence of the Geology, Mineral Resources and Prospectivity of mineral projects and operations of diverse commodities, including precious minerals, base metals and green minerals.
Minecon has inhouse tools for reviewing projects using multifaceted and data integration approach that is capable of unearthing the prospectivity and scope of mineral projects.
Minecon has expertise to carry out tasks in the following specific areas:
- Review of all exploration and or grade control data, including geophysics, geochemistry, alteration, trenching and drilling data.
- Verification and validation of the primary data used for the geological modelling and estimation of Mineral Resources for both open pit and underground operations.
- Review the QA/QC data of the primary database.
- Review the approach to the lithological/ structural/alteration/ and mineralization modelling.
- Statistical and geostatistical studies
- Review of grade estimation procedures.
- Identification of prospective targets to inform future resource growth.
- Mineral inventory studies
- Mine-to-mill reconciliation studies.
