Mineral Reserves

Technical Evaluation

The Mineral Reserves which will be derived from optimized and engineered design of the Mineral Resources will be reviewed. Minecon will review and regularize the Mineral Resource models prior to pit optimization.

Further work will include the review of input parameters and modifying factors including costs, pit optimization, Mineral Reserve determination, mine designs i.e., pit and waste dump designs, haul road designs and stockpile management.

Minecon will also review the mining schedule and mining plans and ascertain that they are realistic based on the projected mineral production of operating mines. This will include the following:

  • Review of the Mineral Reserves relative to the surface and underground Mineral Resource, initially focusing on the open pit feed followed by the Underground mining feed if required.
  • Review of mining studies (including pit and underground optimization, surface and underground mine designs and etc.).
  • Undertake trade-off studies between open pit and underground mining
  • Review the development schedule of the underground mine to ensure that it ties in well with the depletion of the open pit resources.
