Mining Studies
Technical Evaluation
Mining studies will be derived from the Mineral Reserves and from the relevant schedules to determine the appropriate fleet size and cost, and staffing requirements to optimize the schedule. Minecon’s scope of services for the review of mining studies will include the review of the following:
- Mining scheduling
- Equipment size
- Fleet requirements
- Assessment of workforce and shift system
- Haulage profile
- Capital and operating costs estimates, and
- Production schedule for both open pit and underground projects and operations.
The review work will include the development of a mining implementation Plan; short, medium, and long term, and outline potential risk areas in the plan. Minecon will optimize the schedule to ensure that the mining plan is realistic and aligned to the following:
- Projected gold production output
- Production schedule
- Equipment sizing and manpower requirements.
